Gut health.
The microbiome.
Probiotics.
Does any of this sound familiar?
As moms, we tend to save the scraps for ourselves.
We give and give until there is nothing left. But in order to give to our families fully, we must take care of ourselves.
We can’t take care of our families if we are running on empty.
I have been there, and quite frankly, it’s pretty miserable.
Today I want to share with you a guest post by mama Jessica.
Now I’m sure we all have heard about the rampant abuse of antibiotics, but Jessica is a Pediatric Nurse, so she sees how truly life-saving they can be.
It’s in time like these, we can all appreciate the life saving capabilities of antibiotics. Take it away Jessica.
Disclaimer: I (Jessica) am not a physician. Always follow the advice of your doctor and consult him for all medical and health-related questions. If you have any concerns, call your doctor or take your child to the nearest emergency room.
Let’s travel back in time to 1920 or so.
Your son comes down with a fever and a cough, nothing too worrying.
One thing I love about the holiday season is the smells. I love the smell of a real Christmas tree in our living room, a fire in the fireplace, and pies in the oven!
So, when I was thinking of Christmas gifts to give to my friends and neighbors, I immediately thought of the homemade stove top potpourri my mom has made in the past.
It was so simple, yet thoughtful and elegant.
Meal planning and prepping can be a tad bit overwhelming.
The idea of planning out each meal and snack, and pre-cutting all of your meats, vegetables, and fruits can seem like a lot of work! I’ll be honest here, it IS a lot of work!
Hey mamas! It’s meal plan Monday!
This week is dedicated to WHY I love meal planning so much! I will get to that in just a second, but first I want to give you a glance at next week’s post, which I am really excited about!
I am so very excited to start sharing weekly low carb meal plan for all of you busy mamas!
Fall is just around the corner and I have to admit, I am a sucker for everything pumpkin spice.
I think my brain has been re-wired to associate fall with pumpkin spice.
Autumn is right around the corner and in my family that means, soup for dinner! So, I have gathered 20 soup recipes that look amazing to try this fall!
You may have noticed (or not) that I recently took a little break from blogging.
Here’s why. I decided to stay at home with my kids this year in order to spend more time with them. However, I was starting to feel like I was working a full time job again, from home.
I do not claim to be a baker, nor do I really enjoy baking. Mention the word, “S’mores,” on the other hand, and I can whip up some gooey, chocolatey, delicious concoction!
So, when my daughter mentioned that she wanted to go camping (one time) I jumped at the chance to make that her third birthday party theme!
Because camping = S’mores! And I love S’mores. Did I mention that?
