How do you know if your toddler is ready to move from a crib to a bed?
Most children will move from their crib to a toddler bed or regular bed between 18 months and three years old.
Many sleep experts recommend keeping your toddler in their crib for as long as possible.
Did you blink your eyes and now your child is approaching the age of the beginning of kindergarten?
I did! Did you just get done registering them for school? Did that thought make you panic?
Are you breathing heavily now?

Sometimes when I have what I think is a great idea, and then it turns into a big fail.
Sometimes when I feel like I just got it all together, and then the rug is pulled out from under me.
Learning in lockdown is a struggle.
It’s difficult for us parents, it’s difficult for our children and it’s difficult for the teachers.
Children often need help in coping with their emotions and feelings.
They are not that experienced and not physically ready to do that on their own.
They may feel anxious, angry, stressed, excited or impatient and they show that right away – and usually in the ways which are not pleasant for their parents or other people around them.

Your kids scoop exemplary grades in school. Their language is rich and their oratory skills dumbfounding.
They are draped in an aura of confidence like a bathrobe. Their brain is analytical; constantly dabbling in topics well above their age.
The frosting on the cake? That has got to be their social skills! They joyously interact with their peers and adults.
You’ve seen those kids before:
Nose in a book while walking home from the bus stop.
Or little fingers clutching a bunch of shark books at the bookstore because they have a new favorite animal.
Little people are busy trying to understand how things work in the world around them.
They are doing this research every single day restlessly from morning till night.
“Do your homework, son.”
“No! I wanna play catch first”.
“Mom, I don’t want Elsa in my room. I want Luke Skywalker. He’s way cooler!”
“Dad… I think I broke your old record player up in the attic.”
“What were you doing up there?!”
“Umm.. nothing..”

The chaos of a messy, disorganized home can be frustrating. The days when you were in control of your house are long gone and your kids are here to stay (at least until they run off to college, if you’re lucky!).
Kids are adorable and incredible bundles of joy, but they also don’t know how to care for your house the same way you do instinctively.
