I'm a first-time biological mom at 40 to an adventurous 5-year-old daughter. I also have a teenage stepdaughter and adult stepson.  We live in rural Oklahoma and stay busy with 2 active children, gardening, chasing chickens, fun kids crafts, and travel when we can make the time.  I love sharing our adventures and all the fun things we experience in our lives.  I started my blog, New Mom at 40, in hopes to inspire other moms with easy recipes, budget-friendly travel, simple gardening and more.
